This policy explains how VoltiMoto ("we", "us") processes personal data when you visit voltimoto.ee (including the English section) or contact us.

Data we collect

Contact form. When you send a request, we process the fields you submit: name, email, phone (if provided), vehicle description (if provided), and your message.

Technical data when you browse. Hosting and security systems may automatically log limited technical information (e.g. IP address, request time, browser/user-agent information, referrer URL). The exact scope depends on our hosting platform's logs.

Analytics and marketing measurement. The site may load analytics or marketing scripts via Google Tag Manager (GTM). GTM may set cookies or use browser storage; third parties (e.g. Google) may process data under their own policies.

Why we process data (purposes and legal bases)

  • Responding to your enquiry — processing contact details is necessary to handle your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) pre-contract/contract where applicable, and/or legitimate interests in operating a professional enquiry workflow).
  • Operating the website and security — logs and basic measurement may rely on legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) to help prevent abuse, fraud, and technical incidents.
  • Analytics — where non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used, we may rely on consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) where required by applicable law.

How the contact form works

The contact form is submitted to our server API. The server forwards the data to our internal CRM / intake system (configured via environment variables) so staff can reply. If the technical connection is unavailable, your message may not be delivered — in that case, please contact us directly by phone or email.

After a successful submission, we may push an event to the analytics layer (e.g. to measure form usage); this does not replace CRM storage.

Cookies and consent

Cookie types and purposes:

  • Essential cookies — required for website functionality and security (always allowed)
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use our site (Google Analytics, GA4)
  • Advertising cookies — allow more relevant ads and campaign performance measurement (Google Ads tracking)

Google Consent Mode v2: We use Google's consent mode, which means GA4 and Google Ads tags only load and process data after consent is given. Without consent, only anonymous, modeled information is collected.

Giving and changing consent: You can adjust your preferences from the cookie banner that appears on the site or by pressing Esc. Consent data is stored in your browser for 90 days.

Google Tag Manager: We use GTM to manage analytics and marketing tags. All third-party tags (Google Analytics, Google Ads) are connected to consent controls.

Retention

We keep contact data only as long as necessary to handle your enquiry, maintain the customer relationship, or meet legal obligations. Technical logs may be retained for shorter or longer periods according to hosting and security policies.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA/UK context, you may have rights under the GDPR (and local law), including to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request rectification or erasure;
  • request restriction or object to processing;
  • data portability (where applicable);
  • lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee).

Security and transfers

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures (e.g. HTTPS encryption, access controls in internal systems). Data may be processed in the European Economic Area or, where a provider is outside the EEA, in line with applicable law and appropriate safeguards (including contractual measures where required).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes, we may highlight the update on the website or otherwise notify you where appropriate. Continued use of the site after an update may constitute notice of the change where permitted by law.
